C1064 Ring Banded agate $525.00

A cameo of Aristotle, in profile, is a symbol of a scholar or a philosopher or an academician. This cameo was hand carved in the 18th or early 19th century on the continent. Avery unusual royal blue and white banded agate was used for this, extremely fine, detailed carving. In order not to disturb the beauty of the cameo; only a simple, cast solid 14k white gold mount would do. The cameo is 11x15mm. in size; excellent condition.

The image in this 14k white gold bezel is a 13x16mm hand painted snarling wolf. Hand painted wild animals and pets were fashionable during the 18th and early 19th century. Avery detailed piece done on milk glass; excellent condition.

C1066 Ring Banded Agate $750.00

A cameo of Dante's lover Beatrice, in profile, is a symbol of love and devotion. This cameo was hand carved in the 18th or early 19th century on the continent. A black and white banded agate was used for this, extremely fine, detailed carving. In order not to disturb the beauty of the cameo; a fine rose gold bezel was set around the cameo. We then carved and cast an elegantly curved 14k white gold mount would. The cameo is 12x18 mm. in size and in pristine condition.

A clear white natural crystal carved scarab from the turn of the 19th. century mounted in a heavy handmade 14k white gold bezel mount. These images are of Egyptian origin and symbolize eternal life and rebirth. Whenever Egyptology has been in vogue, the scarab once again becomes popular.

An Edwardian, ca 1910, medal made of platinum and rose gold, with wonderful hand engraving and a 15 pt. full faceted bright medium blue sapphire. We salvaged the medal and carved a 14k yellow gold mount that shows it off to best advantage.

Sterling silver and 14k yellow wire sides on this silver casting of three muses in the nude. The ring is a swivel and can thus be worn as a pendant as well.

An excellent image of Hercules with the lion's head cap minted in silver ca. 320 BC. The coin is original and in extra fine condition. Its numismatic value has not been damaged by the mount. We use a special technique preserves the integrity of coin. This is the most famous of the ancient drachmas. The mount is hand carved in 14k yellow gold to accommodate the asymmetry of the coin.

C1072 Ring Carnelian $585.00

A large (13x15mm.) original oval intaglio seal of the Roman era, ca. 200 AD, bezel set in a hand cast 14k white gold mount. The carved rich orange carnelian intaglio image is the profile of a classical maiden; the symbol of the womanly virtues. These stones were symbols of affluence and authority since the rise of civilization in the fertile crescent and were used well into the first half of the 20th century.

A silver Parthian coin dating back to the third or fourth century AD. The coin is original and the condition is extra fine. Its numismatic value has not been damaged by the mount. C1074 Ring Carnelian $450.00

An intaglio in the shape of a horseshoe depicting a soldier on horse back holding a raised saber in his hand. The intaglio probably dates from the 19th century and would be worn by a cavalryman. Such carved intaglios were symbols of affluence and pride during the 18th and 19th century. This fine example is mounted in 14k yellow gold.
